Whether you’re looking for an excuse to entertain your nearest and dearest, or simply want to curl up at home for some R&R, World Cocktail Day is a brilliant excuse to release your inner mixologist.
Arriving on 13 May, as Sloane Street anticipates the breathtaking sights and scents of Chelsea Flower Show and Chelsea in Bloom, head bartender at Sir Frank’s Bar, Mike Tapu, believes the best way to celebrate is with a nod to foliage.
Light, floral and fruity, the Chelsea’s Herb Garden cocktail blends aromatic pink gin with the subtle elegance of elderflower liqueur and the distinctive, luxurious fizz of classic Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial.
The result is a refreshing, rose-tinted concoction that’s a brilliant aperitif, or the perfect accompaniment to a light, seasonal brunch, lunch or dinner – not just on World Cocktail Day, but all summer long.
