A.Houndmarch: a proper butcher for dogs from Anya Hindmarch

Expect delectable doggy treats alongside Hindmarch’s first-ever collection of dog accessories at Anya Hindmarch’s Village

21 April 2022

Dog collar: £150 (small); £165 (large)
Treats for pets and humans alike are available

Anya Hindmarch has reimagined a traditional village butcher for Sloane Street’s furry, four-legged community. Promising ‘prime quality treats for dogs’, A. Houndmarch – as the butcher has been named – will be dishing up drool-worthy treats for pups on Pont Street until May 15 in celebration of the first-ever Anya Hindmarch capsule collection of accessories for dogs and their people.

Poo bags, always the least chic of a dog walker’s accoutrements, are now a mark of great taste thanks to Hindmarch, who has created a bag charm to hold the unsightly essentials, as well as stylish leads and collars that are sure to please even the pickiest of pooches.

For when little legs get tired, there is a new dog tote that can be personalised with your favourite canine friend’s furry visage, and a practical crossbody bag designed to ensure you never forget the essentials when you’re on the go.

But back to A.Houndmarch canine butcher. The counter is stocked with lovingly made dog treats and handmade biscuits, such as duck sausage slices, chicken lollies, salmon strips and beef ‘sushi’ rolls. And you’ll have to take a number to be served, just like at a proper butcher. There’s also frisbees and bespoke tennis balls (£35) for outdoor playtime, natural shampoo bars for when they get a bit grubby and other treats and surprises.

Book in for the roster of events curated for dogs and owners alike, including dog photography, potato printing and caricatures to create lasting memories, as well as behavioural and happiness MOT sessions to make sure your dog is happy and healthy.
