The best experiences to share with your mum this Mother’s Day

From tai chi in a special location to a memorable afternoon at the Chelsea Physic Garden, these are Sloane Street’s top picks for spending some quality time together

3 March 2023

Whatever your mother or mothering figure’s official love language is, she is sure to enjoy spending some quality time with you for Mother’s Day.

We think there’s no better way to show your appreciation for all the years of love, support, kindness and wisdom than by sharing a memorable experience with your favourite maternal figure on and around Sloane Street.

Whether it’s spoiling her with a bit of pampering or booking a bonding experience together, here are nine of Sloane Street’s best ways to say thank you this month.

Mother’s Day lunch at The LaLee

Enjoy a special Mother’s Day menu together at The LaLee within The Cadogan, a Belmond Hotel.

You’ll start with artichoke leaves with truffle dip and Montgomery cheese gougères, then choose from starters including asparagus and wild garlic soup or the Cadogan’s truly delicious beef tartare, made tableside. For mains, there’s a selection of roasts with all the trimmings and, for pudding, choose between an irresistible line up of sweet treats from the counter, including rose praline cake, chocolate loaf cake, strawberry fraisier or raspberry macarons.

12:30pm – 5pm, Sunday 19 March. £85 per adult, £45 per child

Suitable for all experience levels, the class combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and graceful movements, so you’ll both feel energised and calm before you start the day. Plus, tickets include access to the new Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition after you’ve finished your class, so you’ll leave feeling utterly inspired, too.
