Chelsea in Bloom 2025: Flowers in Fashion

Chelsea will once again become a petal-strewn playground as Chelsea in Bloom, London’s largest free-to-attend flower festival, transforms the streets from Monday 19 May 2025, with stunning fresh flower displays springing up throughout the neighbourhood, inspired by this year’s theme, ‘Flowers in Fashion’.

Reflecting Chelsea’s twin heritage of style and seasonal beauty, the 2025 edition marks the event’s 20th anniversary, and it shows. Over 130 boutiques, hotels and restaurants will be decorated with show-stopping fresh flower displays inspired by the neighbourhood’s fashion legacy, style icons, muses and more — all in the hope of winning this year’s top prize, judged by an expert panel of Royal Horticultural Society judges, with the winners announced on Tuesday 20 May.

As ever, visitors can vote for their favourite display to win the People’s Champion Award, with voting open from 6 pm on Monday, 19 May via the official Chelsea in Bloom website. Polls close at midnight on Thursday 22 May, with the winner announced the following day.

Chelsea in Bloom 2024 - The Cadogan, a Belmond Hotel

This edition of Chelsea in Bloom promises to be one of the most creative yet, with large-scale installations paying homage to iconic sartorial cues such as an anarchistic punk mohawk on the King’s Road and a giant pair of wellies on Sloane Square. On Sloane Street, there will be three incredible displays in bloom: a huge pair of flamboyant glasses inspired by Sir Elton John’s trademark look, an exquisite couture gown, and an enormous Ascot-approved hat.

On Sloane Street, look out for blooming displays from Temperley London (a Chelsea in Bloom debutante), Smythson, Hackett and Jessica McCormack, as well as gorgeous installations at The Cadogan, a Belmond Hotel, The Carlton Tower Jumeirah, and Beaverbrook Town House.

Many of the flowers will be donated afterwards to the Confetti Club, a not-for-profit that creates beautiful, biodegradable dried petal confetti from flowers to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Very chic. Very Chelsea.

During the week, expect exclusive flower-inspired menus and cocktails, complimentary posies, engaging workshops, and lots of other exciting happenings in the neighbourhood.

Until then, below are a few of the unmissable highlights during Chelsea in Bloom 2025.
