Chelsea in Bloom returns this May back—and this year, it’s serving high fashion with a floral twist. Celebrating 20 years of turning the neighbourhood into a riot of colour, the 2025 edition is set to be the most ambitious yet, bringing together iconic fashion moments, legendary designers, and London’s creative spirit, reinterpreted in blooms.

Running parallel to the Chelsea Flower Show, from May 19-25, Chelsea in Bloom is London’s largest free-to-attend festival of flowers, produced by Cadogan in association with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). For one spectacular week, the streets of Chelsea will be transformed into a living runway, as Cadogan extends the RHS Chelsea Flower Show into the neighbourhood. 

Expect bigger, bolder, and more extravagant floral displays than ever before, with over 100 local businesses adorning their storefronts in world-class floral art to compete for the top prize. The winners, judged by an expert panel of RHS judges and influential tastemakers, will be announced on Tuesday 20 May.

Chelsea’s fashion legacy—think Swinging Sixties style, punk rebellion, and couture cool—will be reimagined in petals, leaves, and wild botanical creativity. From meticulously crafted installations to bold, statement-making floral couture, it’s a fresh take on Chelsea’s enduring status as one of the world’s most loved fashion destinations.

The People’s Champion Award will be chosen by open voting on the Chelsea in Bloom website, running from the end of Monday, 19 May, closing at midnight on Thursday, 22 May, with the winner announced on Friday, 23 May.

This year’s Chelsea in Bloom comes at a significant moment for Sloane Street, following the completion of its £46-million transformation, which has elevated the area’s public realm with elegant greenery, wider pavements, and beautifully restored heritage details. 

The festival’s grand floral displays will be the first to bloom against the backdrop of this newly revitalised landscape, marking an exciting new chapter for the neighbourhood.
