Step through the candy cane forest and into a world of wonder—Anya’s Grotto returns to The Village this Christmas, from 15 November to 24 December, transforming Anya Hindmarch’s Village Hall into a spellbinding winter adventure for children and their grown-ups.
Guided by Father Christmas, visitors will journey through a magical landscape of twinkling baubles, crunchy snow and glistening icicle caves before gathering by the fireside for a festive story—and a beautifully wrapped gift to take home. Each 30-minute experience is designed for children aged 2–8, with tickets priced at £60 for one adult and one child, and £45 for each additional guest. With just nine guests per session, advance booking is essential.
On your way out, don’t miss the Grotto Gift Shop, brimming with charming keepsakes, playful stocking fillers and beautifully wrapped treasures—each one designed to capture Anya’s signature wit and the wonder of Christmas.
After the adventure, make your way to the Anya Café for its festive afternoon tea, running from 1 November to 31 December. Guests will be treated to a glass of mulled wine, followed by an irresistible selection of exclusive seasonal cakes, sandwiches, and sweet treats—all served on a bespoke festive-themed carved candle stand, inspired by traditional Swedish spinning angel chimes. It’s Anya’s playful take on the British ritual, served with her signature wit and attention to detail. Book your table here.
For a dose of festive fun after dark, the Anya Café will also host its inaugural Bingo Night—a spirited evening of laughter, cocktails and friendly competition. Running across four consecutive Thursday nights from 27 November, guests can sip on a festive cocktail, nibble on seasonal cakes and sandwiches, and dab their way to victory for a chance to win special prizes. Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned player, it promises to be a joyful, slightly mischievous highlight of the holiday season. Tickets are £80 per person (adults only, with a minimum of two tickets per party), and the evening begins at 7.30 pm.
Anya’s Grotto has become part of what makes Chelsea at Christmas so magical—a spellbinding tradition where wit, warmth and whimsy come together in perfect measure. Whether you’re guiding wide-eyed children through glittering caves or dabbing your way to bingo glory, book early, wrap up warm, and prepare to be thoroughly delighted.
