Ice Cream Union

With its mission to radically change people’s expectations of the soft serve, Ice Cream Union has been supplying ice cream to London’s best chefs for more than 15 years. At its parlour on Pavilion Road, you’ll find all the classics from their existing range, as well as newer flavours such as honeycomb (made with honey from The London Honey Company), cornflake, lemon pie, and seasonal treats including this summer’s Pimms sorbet, and Aperol Spritz sorbet, and two vegan ice cream offerings. You can also order take-home punnets to enjoy from the comfort of your sofa.

Harry’s Dolce Vita

They take ice cream sundaes very seriously at Harry’s Dolce Vita. There are three on the dessert menu, each one equally tempting. The decadent gianduia sundae features milk and bitter chocolate gelato topped with piedmontese hazelnut brownie, whipped cream, and warm salted caramel sauce; the Amalfi Sundae has a zesty lemon sorbet base topped with candied lemon, milk gelato, meringue, lemon sauce and sugared rosemary. The grown-up grappa zabaione serves up Grappa flavoured mousse and lemon sorbet trimmed with raspberries, pistachio and white chocolate pearls.

Colbert

What could be more thoroughly indulgent than a classic banana split? At Colbert, the banana is caramelised and topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, raspberry purée and flaked almonds. Warm chocolate sauce is added at the table (so you can have as much as you want).
