With a new autumnal chill in the air, the stylish shoppers that we spotted on Sloane Street this month demonstrated a mutual flair for trans-seasonal dressing, as coats returned to the fore of everyday wardrobes.

Sofia Orbaneja’s laid-back ’70s vibe was a lesson in effortless transitional elegance, while Sophie Smith and Charlotte Bailly Lloyd both demonstrated a sporty sophistication. 

Elsewhere, the trend for wide-legged denim was at work in shades of blue and black, while tall boots teamed with short skirts or shorts made for a sassy – and seasonally sensible – ensemble.
