Globally renowned skincare expert Teresa Tarmey is the woman beauty insiders and A-listers alike trust with their skin. With her namesake clinics, including a serene space at The Cadogan, A Belmond Hotel, and a product line informed by decades of expertise, Tarmey’s approach is both clinical and intuitive. From her beauty staples to her surprising must-have indulgence, here, she shares the obsessions shaping her world right now.
I’m Reading…
I always have an issue of Wallpaper* on the go, I am so passionate about art, design and interiors, so this never fails to make me feel inspired. I always keep the latest issue in the clinic for clients to enjoy as they wait, and I like to sneak a little peek too!
The last thing I bought and cherished…
With my Notting Hill clinic being a stone’s throw from Portobello Market, I never fail to find the most gorgeous little treasures. Something I really cherish is a vintage glass perfume bottle I found – it was just so adorable, and it actually inspired the design of the Acrylic Case that I launched alongside my Anti+ Serum last year
I really value the things that inspire me from a design point of view…it’s what makes me feel totally myself!
My fridge is never without…
I’m more of a freezer person… I keep my Sculpted Limited Edition Cryo Sculpt facial tools (£42) in there and I love to use it in the mornings to depuff my face. Priorities!
My non-negotiable indulgence is…
Weekly physio sessions. They are my absolute holy-grail routine, rather than being an indulgence. I need it in order to continue working – as my job requires me to bend down over my clients’ faces a lot, and so I’ve struggled with neck and back issues which need constant maintenance.
I’m watching…
I keep going back to Breaking Bad. It’s so brilliant, but I have spent years trying to get past episode 4 – it’s such a commitment to see one series through from start to finish, and it’s hard to keep up sometimes!
When no one is around, I like to…
Listen to pop music (the cheesier the better!), and pretend I can sing like all the famous pop stars. Big emphasis on the word pretend; I can’t say I’m very vocally gifted…
The beauty staples I can’t live without… SPF is my absolute non-negotiable, no matter the weather. I like Heliocare 360° Invisible Spray SPF50+ (£28.99). Protecting the skin is absolutely crucial in maintaining its overall health – I never go without it!
My mental health would suffer without…
Hormone Replacement Therapy, hands down! It’s totally changed my life.
On a frillier note, being at work is honestly what energises me, no word of a lie! I do love my weekends, but I long for Monday mornings, when I’m surrounded by my clients. I get to meet some incredible people on a daily basis, which keeps me so inspired and really fills my cup.

I’m thinking about...
I am always thinking about interiors. Whether new pieces of art for the clinic (we currently have Jack Penny pieces up, which I love!), unique pieces of furniture for our new office (something I am so excited about currently!) or Diptyque’s latest scent, the inside of my head is constantly filled with design and art inspirations.

I’m dreaming about…
One day, I would love to buy a house. It’s all I’ve ever wanted, as it’s your own space where there are no rules – you can design and decorate it exactly how you want to! I couldn’t think of anything better, and I’m already brimming with so many ideas… you should see my Pinterest boards…

My go-to wellbeing expert is…
Rose Ferguson is amazing. She currently helps me with all of my nutrition needs, and also really helped me many years ago with my acne. I love her approach, and her advice is designed to be sustainable; which makes it so much easier to follow and integrate into my daily nutritional habits!
My favourite local restaurant is…
Raw Press is a great pit stop for a good coffee or a smoothie in the summer. I’m a vegetarian, and I love a good smoothie or acai bowl – they’re so refreshing and a healthy way to start the day.
The beauty staple I always have in stock…
In terms of makeup, the Lisa Eldridge mascara is a godsend – I take it with me everywhere! Skincare-wise, always SPF… I am never without it, even if it’s dull and dreary outside – we need it every single day to protect our skin!
The place in Chelsea that means a lot to me…
It has to be The Cadogan, A Belmond Hotel, where I have my Chelsea clinic. It’s my second home at this point – I am so thrilled to have our very own treatment room there, and it feels so private and cosy which I love. The staff are so wonderful too – they make me feel like I’m coming home every time I walk through the doors, always greeted with a smile!
