Sloane Street welcomes the debut of the Cabana Holiday Pop-Up in London—a celebration of craftsmanship, culture and beauty from the renowned interiors magazine and homeware brand. Opening in the city where its story began, the Cabana Holiday Pop-Up brings its distinctive sensibility to Chelsea in time for the festive season.
Founded by editor-in-chief and creative director Martina Mondadori, who also leads the brand’s artisanal homewares line, Casa Cabana, Cabana has long been more than a magazine; it’s a sensibility. Rooted in a love of craft, culture and beauty, it celebrates interiors and objects that feel storied, personal, and lived-in.
Now, that ethos comes to life in a pop-up brimming with tabletop treasures, vintage finds, books, magazines, and exquisitely made gifts—each curated to showcase the best of Italian design and artisanal skill.
Inside, expect the transportive spirit of Cabana translated into three dimensions. Murano glassware, patterned linens embroidered in Tuscany, and hand-finished ceramics share space with one-of-a-kind pieces sourced from the brand’s circle of collaborators and friends.
Throughout November and December, the Cabana Holiday Shop will host a series of intimate trunk shows celebrating craftsmanship and creativity in all its forms. Guests can expect appearances from Cabana’s circle of friends and collaborators — from designer Osanna Visconti’s sculptural bronze creations to Stephan Janson’s refined tailoring — each bringing their unique artistry to the space. Every visit promises something new, as the pop-up evolves into a living gallery of design and inspiration.
For those who delight in the finer details of Christmas, Cabana’s Wrapping Masterclass offers the chance to perfect the art of festive presentation. Led by Fin Fellows of The Kensington Paperie, the session will reveal how to combine texture, pattern and colour to create beautifully layered parcels — a reflection of Cabana’s richly decorative aesthetic. Expect gift wrapping elevated to an art form, infused with the warmth and charm of the season.
The programme continues with a pair of unmissable evenings: on 19 November, renowned interior designer, author and raconteur Nicky Haslam joins Cabana for a talk and signing of his new book, Try This at Home: How to Live an Uncommonly Wonderful Life. This will be followed on 16 December by Ruth Rogers, chef and founder of The River Café, whose new cookbook, Squeeze Me, is an ode to the simple, sunny brilliance of the lemon. Each event offers a rare glimpse into the creative worlds that inspire Cabana’s own.
“London holds a special place in Cabana‘s story—it’s where we began,” says Mondadori. “Returning with everything we’ve created since those early days feels like coming full circle.”
Open until December, the Cabana Holiday Shop offers an immersive glimpse into Mondadori’s distinctive world—part salon, part cabinet of curiosities, wholly Cabana.
