With summer on the horizon, Anya Hindmarch’s latest concept store (open until 29 May) is an ode to classic souvenir shops tucked away in beloved holiday destinations.

With its vintage aesthetic evoking a sense of wanderlust and happy summer memories, the shop’s exterior is painted in a sun-bleached yellow, with yellow-and-white striped awnings promising trinkets, curios, novelties and collectables, and tiling that recalls the traditional style of Portuguese azulejos tiles. And, as in all great beachside souvenir shops, the door is flanked by a postcard stand and inflatable beach balls. 

Inside, you will find the Anya Hindmarch summer capsule collection, including new, limited-edition English cotton kaftans, exclusive straw hats and the brand’s signature basket collection. There is also a playful selection of exclusive Anya Hindmarch collectables and souvenirs, including T-shirts, caps, and fans emblazoned with the brand’s logo, as well as illustrated magnets, postcards and classic beach games, all designed to evoke a touch of summertime nostalgia.

There is also an edit of thoughtfully chosen items from selected Anya-endorsed brands, such as sunglasses from Delarge, a small family-owned atelier based in Barcelona; vintage-inspired clothing from La Veste; gender-neutral designs from Moroccan label Marrakshi Life; and delicious-smelling, beautifully branded sunscreen from Vacation Inc., a retro-inspired brand backed by dermatologist credentials and the latest skin science.
