Seen on Sloane: April 2023
Is there anything better than a classic biscuit-hued trench coat to see one through the meteorological gear change that happens in April? March, arguably, is too chilly for a light outer layer but, if you wear a heavy woolly number on a too-warm day in April (they happen), there’s a chance of winding up a hot, sweaty mess.
So: trench coats. This month, April Fan and Millie Bangert wore theirs in a near-identical format of classic trench + white tee + denim jeans = effortless springtime chic. Elsewhere, the denim panels on Yasmin Mousavi’s Sandro trench added an urban edge and Kitty Griffin Pain wore her Burberry trench in an elegant tone-on-tone ensemble.
