Beauty influencer Tania Hergenhahn is a regular on Sloane Street and has amassed almost 20,000 Instagram followers with her insightful skincare advice, considered product recommendations and commitment to empowering others to embrace their unique beauty.

We asked Tania to spend a day on the Street and share her favourite products, treatments and experiences with us. Read on for all of Tania’s personal recommendations…

For beauty lovers, Sloane Street really has it all. From innovative facial and body treatments to all of your skin, body and home-care essentials, plus access to some of the world’s most exciting makeup brands, there is so much choice when it comes to pampering and prettifying.

I recently spent the day on the Street, where I indulged in a transformative facial and spent an afternoon shopping for luxury beauty products on one of the most beautiful streets in London – can it get any better?! Here’s what I got up to…

ADVANCED LED + EXFOLIATING NANO-DERMABRASION FACIAL AT THE LIGHT SALON AT HARVEY NICHOLS

I started my day at The Light Salon, a spa within Harvey Nichols that offers LED light therapy, which is a non-invasive, pain-free solution for the prevention, repair and maintenance of ageing, damaged and uneven skin.

Since I had an event that evening, I booked in for the signature Advanced LED facial with exfoliating nano-dermabrasion. This treatment uses enzymes supercharged by nano-dermabrasion to refine and polish the skin, and advanced LED to renew the skin on a cellular level. A hydrogel mask delivered instant luminosity and the expert massage provided by my therapist, Victoria, lifted and sculpted my face. I walked out glowing and event-ready.

ROUGE HERMÈS LIPSTICK

I’ve forever been a lipstick girl so my next stop was the stunning two-storey Hermès boutique to discover its beauty collection, which launched in 2020. I instantly fell in love with the Rouge Hermès lipstick collection of 24 highly pigmented lipstick shades in a mix of matte and satin finishes – all in a buttery soft texture.

Designed by Pierre Hardy, the packaging is not only beautiful, it’s also highly durable, refillable and plastic-free, made from brushed metal. Then for those a little unsure of which colour to choose, they offer free in-store personal beauty consultations with one of their beauty specialists. Personally, I went for Rouge H (shade number 85) as I wanted a statement colour and its deep cherry colour is perfect for the evening.

HOME FRAGRANCING AT DIPTYQUE

Next, I dropped into the Diptyque flagship that opened on Sloane Street late last year.  The stylish interior design draws inspiration from Parisian architecture that has been cleverly mixed in with the original style of the building. The beautiful paintings by French artist Claire Basler found on the walls are unique to this store, and are worth a visit just to see.

There is so much to choose from at the boutique, from scented porcelain ovals to fragrance your wardrobe and the very many varieties of scented candles, to the La Droguerie collection of cleaning products, and mists for scenting your hair. Personally, I will always love the delicate notes of the classic Mimosa candle.

SCENT CONSULTATION AT JO MALONE LONDON

If you’re in the mood for a new fragrance, Jo Malone London offers complimentary scent consultations, where you can learn about the craftsmanship and ingredients behind the scents, and discover the art of scent layering to create a fragrance that’s almost uniquely yours.

Or, if you’re shopping for some other lucky person, Jo Malone London is a special place to buy gifts, with an engraving service on hand to personalise fragrance caps and candles, or choose from a selection of eye-catching coloured caps for the colognes. You can also have the gift box embossed and expertly wrapped.

SKINCARE FROM SKINESIS

For the last part of my beauty odyssey on Sloane Street, I visited Sarah Chapman’s flagship Skinesis Clinic on Pavilion Road to stock up on some of my favourite products. I’ve been a fan of her skincare for years, one of my go-to products is Digital Rest, a lightweight anti-fatigue night recovery gel-cream that helps to resynchronise the skin’s well-being clock while fortifying against digital pollution.

I’d also highly recommend the five-night Multi-C Super Shots that use two types of vitamin C to rejuvenate, brighten and clarify the complexion for that ultimate glow. The five single-dose ampoules are small and easy to pack so ideal for use on holiday or at home. You can also book in for a facial to discover the products that will work best on your skin.

Whether it’s an innovative treatment using advanced technology, finding the perfect shade of lipstick for your skin tone, or discovering a transformative new skincare product, nothing beats the in-store experience of trying products and treatments, guided by the specialist advice of trained therapists and consultants, making Sloane Street the perfect destination for all things beauty.

And, there are so many more exciting treatments to try in the neighbourhood, from cryotherapy at KXU on Pavilion Road to the ultimate cellulite-busting massage on the King’s Road. Take a look at some of the transformative treatments available in Chelsea here.
