The classic Fendi L’Intrecciato handbag
The Fendi store has had a little make-over and it’s even more gorgeous than it was.
There’s stunning new furniture and plush new carpets downstairs (with all the fabulous furs) but the biggest draw of the new look is a space on the ground floor that’s dedicated to Fendi’s made to order service, where you can bring your own individual sense of style to Fendi’s to-die-for bags and leathergoods.
A vast selection of prized Fendi materials that include textured Cuoio Romano leather, exotic skins such as crocodile and ostrich and precious furs spanning mink, fox and orylag, embroideries and many more can be combined to create your own unique Peek-a-Boo or Baguette handbag.
Or make like Cara Delevingne, Giovanna Battaglia et al with your initials woven into a classic Fendi L’Intrecciato handbag.

At the end of the Forties, Adele Fendi created L’ Intrecciato, a unique workmanship that changed the perception of accessories from rigid to soft and versatile. The technique, borrowed from the fur world, consists in hand-weaving thin strips of plush nappa leather, later stitched by hand.
Bags can take up to six months to complete but we promise they’ll be worth the wait – all good things are.
