Jet-set designer Peter Dundas has brought his Dundasworld “Travelling Flagship” to London, opening the doors to his glamorous world on Sloane Street with a dazzling display of show-stopping Met Gala dresses he created for Ciara, Emily Ratajkowski and Poppy Delevingne to last May’s gala.
Just in time for all the glitz and glamour of the party season, you can expect a glittering array of Dundas’ of hand-embroidered demi-couture pieces alongside flirty party dresses in saucy proportions, the designer’s popular animalier knits and low-key logo sweats.
Set over 750 square feet, the space is just across from the Hèrmes boutique and a short stroll from the newly reopened Belmond Cadogan Hotel. A sumptuous soft grey carpet lines the floors, complemented by a zingy neon artwork and tropical palms – a nod to Los Angeles, Mykonos and Miami, where Dundas has previously opened “Travelling Flagships” since the brand’s launch in 2017.
The store will be open at 50a Sloane Street for three months – until at least the middle of January – with a view of extending the lease to six months. Fingers crossed, ladies.
