This summer’s hottest hair trend for blondes is all about creating natural sun-kissed locks. The kind you might have after an extended stay in St Tropez: all effortless, au naturel lights.
You’ll have to give up on highlighting, with hours spent in a chair and layers of hair tediously folded in foil parcels, but if it means less time in your colourist’s chair and you walk out with a look that it not only fresher and more-on-trend, why wouldn’t you?
The technique is called Palm Painting, and it is an innovative technique created by Brazilian stylist Marcos Verissimo at Neville Hair and Beauty on Pont Street. Inspired by the soft blonde looks on the Chloé and Michael Kors catwalks, the method does away with tedious foils, requiring only your hair and Marcos’ hands and creative vision.
