Still undecided on your New Year’s plans? Make it your most memorable yet in London’s most glamorous neighbourhood, Chelsea, where there are options aplenty, from the refined to the raucous.

Whether it’s unbridled tequila-fuelled high jinks at Tonteria, a masquerade with a twist at Raffles, or a lavish evening at Albert’s Club, here’s our line-up of the best ways to see in 2018.

Albert’s Club

Albert’s is hosting the most lavish New Year’s party in Chelsea, with a sumptuous four-course banquet including lobster, foie gras and fillet Rossini. Expect music that will have you up and shimmying on the dancefloor and midnight treats.

Barts Chelsea New Year's Eve


Chelsea’s very own speakeasy, Barts, is channeling the glitz and glamour of 1930s Chicago this New Year’s Eve. Once you make it past the secret back door, there’ll be a performance by R&B & Soul singer Kyrah, delicious Veuve Clicquot and Belvedere lawless liquor and bacon butties at midnight.

Bar ticket, £80, includes Veuve Clicquot Champagne reception, bottomless beers, wines, house spirits & mixers, alongside Belvedere cocktails. As well as the above, a table ticket, £100, also includes guaranteed seating and table service

Prepare to be shaken, not stirred, as Maggie’s celebrates all things Bond. Expect plenty of gents in dinner jackets, some of Bond’s nemeses, lots of gals in Casino Royale-worthy dresses, and probably a few gold-painted “Fingers”.

Tickets are £40, including a Moët & Chandon Champagne reception, bacon butties at midnight, an “epic” New Year’s toast and the club’s signature musical hits from the Eighties.

Whatever they have planned for the big night, the people at Tonteria, which aptly translates as “Foolishness” in Spanish, it’s sure to involve plenty of the Mexican-themed Sloane Square club’s signature brand of off-the-hook hedonism and, naturally, lots of tequila. Measured by previous years shenanigans, it’s sure to be an unforgettable evening.

Beaufort House

Beaufort House will be hosting a wittily named evening of gilded glamour at its BeauFort Knox party. In true Beaufort style, you can expect a stylish black tie soiree and an evening of gold infused elegance and fun. There will be a DJ on each floor, with bubbles flowing, lashings of Ferrero Roche chocolates, gold and dancing until the early hours.

Tickets for a five-course dinner are £75, while party-only tickets are £30.

A night of mystery and intrigue awaits you at Raffles, which is hosting a masquerade party with a saucy Eyes Wide Shut theme. Capes, suspenders, black tie and lingerie as your year get’s off to a scintillating start with performances of an erotic nature throughout the night.

Tickets will be £30 for ladies and £40 for men before 2am; Table packages start from £750. Members and their guests will receive complimentary entry.

The Botanist

Head to The Botanist at Sloane Square for a glamorous night of dining and dancing, with a DJ spinning tracks until 2 am in the stunning new-look restaurant. We suggest making a reservation to ensure your spot for all the action.

Entry is free and last dining reservations are at 11.15 pm.

The Rib Room At Jumeirah Carlton Tower
