On & Around the Street

If you, like us, have ever imagined the perfect shoe, sandal, pump or heel that would not only complete your wardrobe but possibly your life too, but been crestfallen when you can’t find it, then this news is going to change your life. And your wardrobe. Jimmy Choo has launched a made-to-order service.

The London-based brand is offering an array of its signature styles that can be custom-made in a whole spectrum of colourways, textures and exciting finishes.

Made-to-order shoes have been a part of the Jimmy Choo DNA since the brand was born but the service was mostly done on the down-low, for the occasional private client who would order a special fabrication, an exotic material or unique colour for a special event, and most frequently on the red carpet.

Jimmy Choo creative director Sandra Choi has selected her favourite Jimmy Choo silhouettes for the made-to-order menu, including the Anouk pointed pump, the strappy sandal Lance and Xenia styles, and the Tite in varying heel heights. Clients may choose from classic suedes, lustrous satins, sumptuous leathers in a variery of different colours, or go for something a bit more OTT like glitter, crocodile or exotic snakeskins. For an extra personal touch, made-to-order customers are offered the chance to personalise the soles of the shoes with the addition of monogram initials.

Finally, shoe aficionados looking to build a bespoke wardrobe or brides planning their wedding shoe wardrobe, can create their dream shoes, combining quintessential skilled Italian Jimmy Choo craftsmanship with the luxurious quality of materials used.

Now all you have to do is choose which style/colour/skin/finish you’d like…

The Made-to-Order service is available at Jimmy Choo, 32 Sloane St, London SW1X 9NR, now.
