From 6pm – 8pm on Thursday 14th August, the Arab British Chamber of Commerce, together with partners Sloane Street, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and the Household Cavalry will welcome Middle Eastern visitors to London’s most luxurious shopping destination, to celebrate Arab-British relations and the launch of London Arabia.
British car maker Rolls-Royce will showcase a line-up of its most iconic cars along Sloane Street – including the stunning Wraith, Phantom and Ghost – and the wonderful Household Cavalry guards will be making an appearance. Both quintessentially British icons are frequent visitors to this famous shopping avenue. Throughout the evening, Arabic translators will be on hand to guide visitors and provide advice and inspiration on the latest collections. Many stores will be offering entertainment or special offers for the evening – including an Arabic Calligrapher in-store at Jo Malone London to customise their stylish boxes, La Perla gifting a complimentary fragrance and goodie bag with each purchase on the night and refreshments at many stores including Tom Ford, Jimmy Choo, Browns and Zadig & Voltaire. Delicious Arabic food will be provided by Maroush Group.
London Arabia is a bi-lingual Arabic-English business and lifestyle magazine, published in cooperation with the Arab British Chamber of Commerce and London & Partners. From fashion, travel, real estate, art and culture to fine-dining and jewellery, the publication is dedicated to revealing what London has to offer the elite Arab visitor during the summer season and beyond. It will be available on relevant flight routes, in embassies and selected hotels.
Dr Afnan Al Shuaiby, Secretary General of the Arab British Chamber of Commerce comments “Last year, visitors from the Middle East spent over £1.25billion in the UK. The ABCC look forward to welcoming the increasing number of Arab visitors to London and we are delighted to be part of ‘London Arabia’, a unique publication that showcases the very best of this wonderful city.”
Boasting an unparalleled collection of the world’s most coveted designer stores, Sloane Street attracts those desiring the very best in luxurious style. With Fashion Week around the corner, there is no better place to visit this Thursday.
Continuing this celebration, Sloane Street stores will also open until 8pm on Friday 15th, Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd of August.
