Updating your wardrobe for the new season just became a properly enticing prospect. For three consecutive Saturdays, kicking off on February 29, Hackett London will be celebrating its new spring/summer 2020 collection with in-store festivities, including music, a gin cocktail bar and sweet treats.
The spring/summer 2020 collection takes inspiration from the great British summer and its world-famous sporting calendar, and highlights this season’s key trends: summer shirting, seersucker suiting, tailored jackets and hero outerwear.
With a palette centred around sophisticated neutrals and buttery pastels, grounded in timeless navy and khaki, the collection brings character to key moments for the Hackett London man, from his weeks spent in the city to days at the likes of Ascot, Wimbledon and Henley Royal Regatta, and holidays spent on the coast.
The new-season Henley blazer in nautical blue and white stripes was inspired by spectators at Henley Royal Regatta and is cut from a superior cotton-linen blend that was woven in the British Isles by Robert Noble.
Hackett’s hero 2-in-1 linen blazer, with its removable gilet, makes for the perfect transitional piece as we move into the new season. It’s made with the finest blend of wool and linen, with a notch lapel and patch pockets. And your perfect off-duty spring jacket comes via a contemporary take on the traditional blouson jacket.
For your 9-to-5, explore softly textured suits cut in smooth tropical-weight wool that resists creasing, making them ideal for business, travel or a weekend in the country. Or work some colour and texture into your wardrobe with the lightweight and breathable délavé linen blazers, which come in shades including pink, light blue and sage.
Make a day of it by booking in for a morning session upstairs at the Murdock grooming lounge, where you can settle in with the morning papers and a cup of coffee while you have a traditional wet shave, a professional beard trim, or even a consultation on your moustache. The in-house barber is also available to update or refresh your locks.
