Bringing together two of our favourite things – art and fashion – Boutique 1 is launching an exclusive collaboration between premium denim label Citizens of Humanity and Los Angeles based graffiti artist, RISK, to design exclusive customised denim jackets.
Coinciding with the Frieze Art Fair, a pop-up installation has been set up at the new and gorgeous Sloane Street store, where RISK, also known as Kelly Graval, will implement his own letter designs in custom works on a Citizens of Humanity women’s denim jacket. Customers can choose any letter of the alphabet to be designed in graffiti on the back of a jacket by RISK himself. Each custom jacket will retail for £895 and customers placing a personalised order should receive their finished jacket within six weeks.
Graval has been synonymous with the Los Angeles art community for decades, with a career spanning over thirty years, he has solidified his place in the history books evolving from a street artist to a rising star in the contemporary art world.
The pop-up will run for three weeks to October 27th, and customers who order a jacket during this time will receive a signed copy of RISK’s book, Old Habits Die Hard, as well as a complimentary copy of Citizens of Humanity’s editorial publication, HUMANITY magazine, (while supplies last). RISK’s Old Habits Die Hard will also available for purchase separately at Boutique 1’s book section for the duration of the collaboration, which is also available online.
