Chelsea In Bloom 2017: ‘Floral Safari’

Chelsea in Bloom 2017: Floral Safari

Things are about to get wild on Sloane Street as Chelsea In Bloom returns for its 12th year, bringing the legendary RHS Chelsea Flower Show out into the streets of Chelsea and transforming the neighbourhood into a celebration of floral art with this year’s theme, ‘Floral Safari’.

Taking their inspiration from the vast savannahs, incredible wildlife and verdant jungles of Africa, a record 51 retailers on and around Sloane Street will be competing for the prize this year by transforming their storefronts into a cacophony of floral installations, which will be judged by a panel from the Royal Horticultural Society based on their creative interpretation of the theme, as well as their style, flair, relevance to brand and use of fresh flowers.

Start your journey at the Information Point at Sloane Square,by the life-sized floral elephant, where you can pick up a free activity map or book a complimentary rickshaw ride, then venture out to see what the likes of Jimmy Choo, Red Valentino, Boutique 1 and more have created – expect lots of envy-inducing Instagram moments during your explorations.

There will also be a range of in-store events, exclusive products and offers throughout the Chelsea in Bloom week including, florally inspired menus and cocktails from Gallery Mess, The Botanist and more; ‘Floral Safari’ themed products across a wide range of stores including Club Monaco, Escada, Natoora, The White Company and limited edition artist-designed T-shirts at RedValentino; andSarah Chapman has created exclusive pampering safari-inspired treatments and ‘express’ services, including the ‘Rhino Rhytide’, the ‘Watering Hole’ and the ‘Mud Bath’.
