Proving that Pavilion Road is London’s hottest new destination for discerning gourmands, Australian chef Bill Granger will open his fourth London restaurant, Granger & Co., on Pavilion Road late this spring.
Set in the new George House development, which is now home to Red Valentino, Delpozo and Boutique 1 (which also houses April’s Cafe, another recent addition to the neighbourhood’s burgeoning food scene), the new Granger & Co. restaurant will seat 100 guests and will bring the same casual all-day dining restaurant experience that has been serving the neighbourhoods of Notting Hill, Clerkenwell and King’s Cross to Chelsea.
“I’ve always wanted to open a restaurant in Chelsea, and have been looking for a site for the last ten years, so I jumped at the chance to be a part of Pavilion Road. It’s a food shopping destination with a village feel, and just what I have been waiting for,” said Granger.
The new restaurant will join a growing roster of destination artisan food merchants now making a home on Pavilion Road, including Bread Ahead, London Cheesemongers, Natoora and local butcher Provenance.
While there are currently no details available about the new restaurant’s menu, we have it on good authority that it will bear many of the Granger favourites that have made the restaurants so popular with Londoners, all put together with the kind of flair that makes Instagrammers go wild. We can’t wait for those famous ricotta hotcakes with banana and honeycomb butter; the sweet corn fritters with roast tomato, spinach and bacon; or for those incredible burgers to be right on our doorstep.
